The Preusz Group: Our Story
Preusz Group is a Marion-born, Marion-led company that helps people in Grant County and beyond find a place to call home. Preusz Group was founded by its namesake, Jonathan Preusz, a local with a lifelong passion for real estate, property ownership, and community reinvestment.
His entrepreneurial journey started at age 16, when he and his brother launched a lawn care business using their grandfather’s equipment. What began as a simple job with friends grew into a 17-year business with more than 15 employees, spanning high school, college, and the years after.
At the same time, real estate was always one of Jonathan’s interests. With family roots in land development, hotels, and rental properties, he grew up seeing firsthand the value of hard work, trust, and long-term investment. He bought his first property at 20, and began renovating and improving homes, doing as much of the work as possible himself, often with help from his father and grandfather. Over time, he completed multiple projects, including his first ground-up duplex build, and continued expanding his portfolio and experience.
Preusz has now branched into a variety of property offerings, including short-term and long-term rentals, and the team is known for taking great care of their homes and great care of their neighbors, driven by the belief that real estate can do great things for people and neighborhoods alike.
